Description

The PMA7000B from PS-Engineering is a great choice if you are looking for an affordable audio panel. Upgrading to this panel from an existing Bendix/King KMA24 is a remarkably simple process due to its KMA24 compatibility. This makes the PMA7000B a great choice for both upgrades and brand new installations.

PS-Engineering’s plan with this audio panel was to create a system that would have you forgetting you are actually using an intercom. No need to adjust any squelch circuits to hear clearly; the PMA7000B comes complete with PS-Engineering’s Voice Operated Relay (VOX) system. With only one knob on the unit for adjusting the volume, ease-of-use was obviously high on the list of priorities in the development of this product. All other functionality is controlled with the aid of simple push buttons.

The 3-Com capability within the PMA7000B also allows for the option of converting Com 3 into a fully-fledged mobile phone interface, while the ability to split Com 1 and Com 2, allowing the pilot to work with ATC even as the co-pilot collects information about the current weather conditions, is invaluable.

With hi-fidelity music source inputs, three distinct isolation modes, build-in market beacon receiver and more, PS-Engineering’s PMA7000B is a great option for your own General Aviation aircraft.
