Garmin GNS 430

The GNS 430 is a fully integrated panel mounted unit providing IFR GPS, 760 or 2280 (8.33kHz spacing) channel VHF Comm, VOR, Localiser, Glide Slope, and moving map, presented in colour on a 1.8"x3.3" DSTN display.

GNS430 VHF COM 10 watts and GNS430A VHF COM 16 watts. Also available the GNC420/420A, as the GNS430 but without the VOR/LOC/GS and the GPS400 a GPS only version of the GNS430.

The basemap allows allows the pilot to view current position relative to towns, roads, railways, rivers, lakes and coastlines. The use of colour separates land data, terminal areas, route and approach information.

A Jeppesen database (updateable via front loading data cards) contains all airports, VORs, NDBs, Intersections, FSS, Approach, SIDs/STARs, and SUA information.
