Airframe / Engine Maintenance

RGV Aviation Ltd has the capability to maintain most types of General Aviation aircraft in our modern maintenance hangar.

We hold EASA Part 145 & FAA Repair Station approval and can fully support JAR OPS operations, including help with Maintenance Programmes and Expositions.

We can maintain the following aircraft types...

  • Wood and Fabric covered aircraft.
  • Composite construction aircraft.
  • Pressurised and Unpressurised aircraft up to 5700 Kgs.
  • All Piston engined General Aviation aircraft.
  • Small Turbo Prop aircraft.

...from the following manufacturers:

  • Piper
  • Cirrus
  • Cessna
  • Beechcraft
  • Mooney
  • Rockwell Commander
  • Robin
  • Socata
  • Diamond Aircraft
    and most other types.

Fleet rates available for operators of three or more aircraft (does not have to be same type or manufacturer to qualify).

A total of 10 airframe and engine engineers are on staff. Of these:

  • 3 are licensed engineers
  • 2 have pilot licenses and are CAA approved airtest pilots

We have in house Avionics support, see our Avionics pages, a well stocked aircraft consumable parts store, so that we can give as quick as turn around as possible on your aircraft.

Other facilities include:

  • Dry paint strip plant capable of removing paint, rubber and plastics from most component surfaces.
  • Mead Industries battery analyser; capable of performing monitored battery charging and capacity tests.
